No. You're getting into a real business.

It's been a real business for Carol, me, and our Team for more than 12 years. With over 250 Franchisees and more than 7,000 advisors across North America, it's been a real business for Expedia Cruises for nearly 40 years.

You're sitting in a real travel agency with real customers, surrounded by advisors building real businesses. Do they all succeed? Some do. Some don't.

Some people engage fully, follow the path, and build successful businesses. Others decide it's not the right fit, never really get started, or simply don't stay engaged long enough to figure it out and see results.

What makes our model different is that you don't have to figure it out alone. We don't just give you a website and a login, pat you on the back, and say, "Good luck. Go sell something."

Expedia Cruises™ isn't some nameless, faceless corporate logo sitting out on the internet. It's Carol and me. It's our Team. It's this building. It's the coaching conversations, Team meetings, training, supplier relationships, Travel Showcases, consumer events, and all the little things we do every day—from postage stamps to full-blown marketing campaigns and events.

New advisors begin with orientation and onboarding, earn their International Cruise Academy certification, learn the Navigator's Approach to Selling, receive coaching and mentoring, and start working toward the early milestones of our Pathway to Diamond.

Along the way they continue learning through supplier education, Team meetings, Navigator's Club programs, consumer events, Travel Showcases, marketing tools, and the systems and support that help them build their business.

We all have a Dave in our life, right?

He may never book with you. But I guarantee he'll follow you on Facebook just to watch what you're doing. And instead of talking turkey at Thanksgiving, he might just end up eating crow and asking you to help plan his next trip.
