When we opened Expedia Cruises™ – Shreveport-Bossier in 2015, we knew two things for certain: we wanted to create a professional, credible business that travelers could trust — and we wanted it to be fun. That’s why we chose a retail storefront instead of hiding behind a website. Travel is exciting, and we wanted a place where people could walk in, share their dreams, and leave with a smile.


Since then, we — Carol and Elton Richey — have worked side by side with our team to build not just a business, but a community hub for travel. Customers discover us because of our visible location, walk-ins become long-term clients, and our welcoming professional environment naturally fosters opportunities to build strong customer relationships. In an industry where many agents work invisibly online, having a physical presence means you start with trust and credibility before you even make the first call.


Over the years, we’ve hosted dozens of events where cruise lines, tour operators, and local travelers come together to share ideas and plan adventures. We’ve partnered with organizations like Shreveport Regional Airport, Red River Radio, and the Southern Hills Business Association — reinforcing our role as a visible and trusted resource in Shreveport-Bossier.

And because travel should always be as fun as it is professional, we host events that bring our clients and consultants together in unique ways. Our favorite example? Traveltini — our annual customer appreciation event, where we mix travel inspiration with a playful cocktail party atmosphere.
